thanks guys, i have 3 and may look at selling one.

there 10mm cubes for 650nm, very expensive from edmund optics

Yes.. but the cannot be used to -combine- 2 beams into one. They will split any incident beam in half, so if you would rig one like described here, 2 beams would come out as well. Each beam would consist of half the power of either laser, but it'll do you no good if you want more power in a single beam.
