Hey guys, I just wanted to say for anybody on the edge about whether or not to do a GB... DO IT! I can only speak for the GB's with Jetlasers (just going to take a moment to give props to Gray (our JETLASERS contact) and also to Haxzaw who runs the US side of things:). Not only do you get a significantly lower price on the unit, but the shipping is lower than a single unit shipped from there, and the customer service is like you can't find it anywhere these days (and I say "customer" loosely, as after you go through a GB with them it seems like more often than not you have gained a few friends). Gray shipped (at his cost) my 1000mW 445nm PL-C unit over seas several times just to make sure the final product was PERFECT. When it gets here in the next few days I'll update with pics. I'm so excited!!!!
 





Yay, my package arrived!! With LOST of extra goodies! Props to Gray (JETLASERS), hakzaw (Len), and AxiZ!!!! Thanks guys for all your help and HARD work :)
 
For all others, I highly reccomend dealings with these people. Also if you are considering a new laser in your future I encourage you to check out GB#4. Pics will be posted in the Reviews section so as to not over/double post.

AFAIK every laser seller has , at one time or another, had issues and occasionaly a dead or dying unit. No such thing as the '100% always overspec never die ' Laser Company. And Jetl is no exception.

However how these issues are handled is what IMO what seperates the good from the so-so and the bad. Who pays for return shipping- how long repairs take and offers of other units is what seperates them.

One Jetl 532/250 failed the day it arrived( sorry about that DTR- you are one of the last members that I would want that to happen to)--thru the efforts of JETL and myself we had a new 532 in Jordans hands is about one week. ATM we now have experienced poor focus and also a failed unit in the new 405/800s. The focusing problem is solved and the dead unit will be fixed and returned or Rod also has the option of another wavelength or full refund.

As JETL has no 405/800s on hand the option of just quick shipping (Express DHL) a new 405 cannot be done. Good compnaies do whatever it takes to have happy consumers. That is why I align myself with both JETL and AixiZ. ( and guys like Moh and DTR)
