check the specs for your tube. you'd have to purposely tune that line in to get a strong line, so no worries as long as one of the other lines is present. If you tune the laser and it appears nothing is coming out be careful as you could tune a IR or UV line possibly and it would be most invisible. The lower UV lines are much easier to achieve then the red or IR lines on an argon. The 351 line however is powerful and invisible, maybe 20-30% of the power of the tube, it rivals the green and blue lines. all the other lines are 5% or less on a normal argon tube.
and yes the green lasershades should be good for most of them even the UV line ( spec should be 190-449 OD5 and 450-532 OD6 IIRC, any of the red/amber googles specd for green should be good from 200-532 ). if you go over into red however be careful as they won't protect at all.
