"Glowtorch" like 660nw 100+mw w/pics and vid

Ok thanks, I will look on CPF when I receive the torch. I may try the dremel wire brush method.

I did a Search and Found This on an RC Helicopter Forum where they were talking about removing Anodizing.

"this stuff rips off anodizing like theres no tomorrow. and it doesn't appear to attack the aluminum after the anodizing is gone. i stripped an entire R50 boom in under 5 minutes. and it went right from rinsing to polishing. nothing needed in between. its highly recommended to do it outdoors though. this stuff will strip a pop can in seconds. and leave a nice shiny silver pop can behind."

If you are going to use a chemical, remember that you must throroughly flush the part afterward to ensure the chemical process has stopped. As well, removing too much may make the threads a little "sloppy". Take off the minimum to get to bare aluminimum.

Is the beam really that pronounced and bright in a fully lit indoor room? Or is it a trick of the camera? That's amazing!

Just a question: Were you wearing goggles while shooting the video?

The Laser is a 660nm so it's a DARK RUBY RED. With that being said 660nm's aren't all that visible. In fact my 10-15mw 532nm (GREEN) has a brighter to the human eye beam. If you want a BRIGHT red laser I suggest something more near 635nm.

At all times when with high power lasers I'm wearing safety glasses. At least with REDs of this nature they don't put out IR.

I've already gone through a set of Batts, so fun to burn things, hehe.
