While the website really doesn't look like it would have any lenses at all, I found they actually have double convex and double concave lenses for $.99 each and in different sizes and focal lengths. They have 38mm and 50mm diameters with FL of 5cm, 10cm, 15cm, 20cm, 30cm, and there's one with 100cm. The description for each is pretty much "This double _____ lens is made of high quality glass with outstanding optical qualities. Size: __mm; Focal Length: __cm. Lens comes in a labeled coated envelope."

So sounds like a pretty good deal for 99 cents, eh? (I'm not Canadian ;))
so here's the site: http://www.christianbook.com/Christ...54144&netp_id=366733&event=ESRCN&item_code=WW

Oh yeah, and shipping is just $3.95. So tell me what you guys think

EDIT:: Theres a way to get 5% off your order, but it will take some work. When I was about to place my order in the checkout window, I noticed there was a small list of products related to what I had on my cart, and it said "Save 5% Off These Items When You Add Them Now!" so what I did was add some lenses and prisms that I didn't want and I kept updating quantity to refresh the list of items. Then you just add the ones you want to the cart, and viola! Their price was reduced by 5%. Then you delete all the extra stuff from your cart :)

Just placed an order for a 50mm biconvex lens w/ 10cm FL, a 50mm biconcave lens w/ 10cm FL, and an equilateral prism measuring 27mm x 75mm... and all for under $10 including shipping :D

Spd2Last thanks for this lead, yes it was odd that you came across optics there!

ok update:
just received my lenses today. they came in a pretty big box considering their size. It was all packed with paper, but at the bottom were the two little envelopes and triangular box. so far, they've been pretty good. I get a bit of reflection back from both surfaces of the glass, but it's nothing too bad. o well I'm not complaining because these were only 99 cents, the prism cost me about $3 though... quick shippiing too :)

Hmmm I might pick some of these up. Now to make some housing for them to fit nicely over an aperture of a laser. ;)

Got myself the same thing, it comes to 14.28$ to ship in Canada (13.87 CAD$)
Really good find, thanks!
