Wondered when you'd chime in. :)

I was inspired by your build and am still waiting for my $25 eBay CPU waterblock.

I think I'll need to pick up a rad too, dedicated CPU rads seem too expensive, I'll have to look into a used motorcycle rad too.

Yeah, mine's acrylic top which is prone to leaks but I think I'm going to mount my motherboard upside down so that even in case of a leak, water drips down, away from it. Thanks for the tips!

The waterblock that I'm waiting for is this one: 1 Pcs CPU Water Cooling Block Copper Waterblock Liquid Cooler for Intel AMD W16 | eBay

I used a 100W aquarium heater to test out the cooling capabilities of the water chiller (that I picked up), and the chiller couldn't keep up and the temps were slowly rising under 100W of load, even with the compressor running.

The tube is a regular water hose that I picked up and the pump is a 20W aquarium pump. Total cost is about $35. :)

Holy crap, that's some insane Vcore voltage.

I wonder when the dies will degrade...:whistle:

Its still alive , the Chip is around someplace and I only ran it at 5.1Ghz to stress test it for a 2 hours originally it did it 5.1Ghz @ 1.55V core but I bumped it up to 1.65V to keep it stable er ish :D , after that I put it back to 3.5Ghz before I tried to hit 5.3 Ghz but at 1.7V core for 5.3Ghz my motherboard died xD .
