I was wondering what you fine folk would know about making a driver for a red laser diode of about 300mW output.
I like to generally build my own circuits and would like something a bit more safe (for the laser) and less crude plus more efficient then just a lm317!
A little about me....
I love electronics and film photography so lasers fit right into both for me.
I have repaired vacuum tube radios and tv’s to germanium transistors to early computers to now lasers.
I’ve also played around with developing film in my darkroom, like slides, b&w’s to even super8 movie film which involves sulfuric acid and potassium dichromate as a bleach step.
What can I say other than I dig this stuff.
