Im assuming its a dirty lens but I cant figure out how to fix it. Ive tried cleaning both sides with a qtip and rubbing alcohol and it seemed to help but now its back to fuzzy.

Any help here would be great

Interesting... I have the same problem with one of my DIY builds although the q-tip with a tiny dab of rubbing alcohol 'fix' seemed to decrease the fuzziness about 50% for me. I'm curious what someone else who knows what this might be has to offer

I haven't disassembled my laser that had this problem, just cleaned both lenses on the outer sides of the module.

I had this problem too before, a microfiber cloth fixed it completely. Maybe put a different lens in it and see what you get?

I cant find my camera charger and I accidently smashed my blackberry on Halloween :banghead: so no pictures unfortunately. It is a DIY and the profile of the diode looks normal with the lens off aka a nice and clean bar. Im 99% sure its just something on the lens or in the lens. Anyone ever have anything inside their lens before? Like between two elements?

have you ever dropped the module or done anything at all that may have fractured the lens?

Glad to see it's better.

I have several of the 3 element AixiZ glass lens and noticed that some of them arrived loose. Easy way to tell, just put it up to your ear and shake it, if it rattles, it's loose. I had to tighten down the retainer ring to fix it but it worked.
