That calculator is correct, I asked because I've seen people around here assuming the distances are linear and taking averages instead.
My grating matches pretty close to the advertised 1000ln/mm (1um spacing). Higher line densities are better for wall spectrometers, because the measurements will be bigger. OTOH that limits the longest WL measurable - in my case to 1000nm, in yours to 4900nm - those would be diffracted by a 90º angle.
