Adding two more!

#22 Supbeam X40vn, with dedomed XML2 LEDs. Produces a very nice looking tight beam, works perfectly, and is 97% like new. This is the first version of this mod, and is not pushed as hard. Output is at around 3300-3500 lumens, not the current 4000. Visually the difference is negligible, hence I never sent it back to upgrade it a second time. WTS: X40vn 4200L

dam your prices are so good. i would get that xvn and x60vn but i also want like 5 lights on vinhs thanksgiving sale. plus im trying to sell my 1w 405nm c11 laser but i dont think anyone wants it.

vinh said he might be able to drive the xvn harder with his increased resources and skills. he told me this in an email

I'm gonna ask him too. If he could drive the Xvn harder it would be amazing. The only reason it never became a contender is that he just couldn't quite get it past the ~4A point. I wouldn't put it past him to just use somebody else's driver at this point instead. If he does it would make for a definite contender to compete against the K50vn at least, and definitely beat out the TN31vn, and K40vn. With the deeper, but not wider reflector it also makes for a more interesting beam profile than even the TK61vn. I have the V1 of that light, and a stock one, and keeping them for a while the way the are... the ~100kcd gain really does isn't worth the extra $125 mod cost imo.

Let me know if you're interested in any of the lights... I really am looking to get some money asap since I booked a very expensive trip in september but had crazy expenses come up since. I'll go $5-$10 below Vinh's sale thanksgiving price, except for international. Not sure how he ships so cheap international, but usps kills me.

Hi, it would be $167. Due to expensive shipping unfortunately it's not as good of a deal.

yes i thought this may be the case.. was hoping the quote might work out a few dollars less than buying directly from Vin, but his are 165 shipped international,

Wish i lived in U.S i would have got a couple of yours when this thread 1st went up..
