Sorry for an answer that's not about purchase, but how did you get the host? I'd really love to have a "Ple-pro" host of my own:D I'm not looking for anymore 445s right now sadly:(

The hosts aren't readily available as far as I know, it was done as a favor for me. The JetLaser prices are more than fair if you think about the warranty and how they will bend over backwards to ensure your happy.

Thanks for the comment, you an pay me for this and modify it how you like, the driver will push over 3.5A and maybe 4.5A.

So I can modify it to my liking? How easy would it be to switch diodes and or drivers? I've never messed with anything this complicated so If it's too hard I won't try cause I don't want to break anything this beautiful:crackup:

You can sell it to him:) I think I'd rather order straight from the website so I can claim I own a legit JL:D

(No offense to you in anyway about "legitness", I simply meant about having one made by jet lasers themselves)

BTW: this is an authentic JL host and driver and lens and heatsink... the diode is mine.. if the diode fails I'll replace it no big deal, it's set conservatively at 1.6A and my LPM shows a practically unlimited duty cycle. I honor all my builds and not one of them have been returned for repair yet, outside of one who put wrong cells in.
