From what I've read they dont do much for 405nm or 445nm. So be careful.

Ewww, thats the main reason why i would get one..for the lower wavelengths.

The ones linked are not BLPS. So you may not even get any protection at all.

Be careful when experimenting with these glasses, or others that are not designed specifically for laser, your eyesight is at stake, especially if the laser is powerful.

Experimenting is fun, but taking all necessary precautions.

I would never trust my eyesight with these. Even with my eagle pair i sometimes like to put another pair on top so i have a bit more protection.

These goggles would be good for having bb gun wars but when it comes to lasers, no way!

How do you make 2 pairs fit? The goggles are usually the same size as each other. Unless you can find an extremely big one..

The eagle pair fits fairly snug and i have a pair of alphas which have one of the temples broken off. I can rest them on top of the eagles pretty well, probably doesnt make much of a difference but it reduces the brightness of the dot a little.

Just a thought here,
they might be stopping more light than we give 'em credit for.
On the wall the reflection just looks like splash... My 1.6W lights up the whole yard even when the dot isn't hitting/reflecting off anything.
Not about to trust MY vision to crap glasses though, they don't look cool anyway :crackup:

They both are advertised as 445nm i believe, but i think the eagle pair goes up to 540nm. I only wear both when im burning lego figures or other toys my son doesnt play with anymore to reduce the glare

Yeah, But they wil stop up to a .15 Cal. bullet.....

W.T.F. is a .15 Cal. bullet?? Munchkin Reserve National Guard standard issue munitions?? The smallest firearm caliber which I am aware of is .17 and that ain't nowhere near a military caliber. Hell, even flechettes were bigger than .15 In in dia.
Must be REALLY good balistic material.....

I only trust my eyes to glasses that have been proven already. No need to even waste time to something that can even potentially not provide the proper protection.
