SUREFIRE 9AN Commander Flashlight system w/ chargers and 2 batteries+ BONUS extra unused bulb.
I bought this new, it's not black, it's the more rare titanium OD anodized color

It's perfect shape, literally flawless, and on high it's blinding.
I read review where an owner used it when the landing lights on his Cessna went out.:-)

As far as a flashlight it's military/law enforcement grade. shock and waterproof, 2 light levels, momentary tailcap on/off etc... this light is made to be used, it can be dropped, and the bulb doesn't break.
it's very solid and durable, it was popular in military active duty use before the LED craze took over.
The bulb is not LED, it's halogen and it has a beautiful warm tint,
It's really ridiculously bright, made to temporarily blind potential assailants,
as described by the manufacturer
the fit, finish and overall quality of this is superior to 95% of the flashlights out there, it is a true military grade light

$140 for a flashlight host is pretty remarkably high.

But what are the details for it as a flashlight? I'm looking for something to replace the quad-SST-90 I sold. Is it XML or SST-50/90? Or is it P7?

I can't really tell scale from the photo, but is that battery something custom from SureFire? It looks like 2x 22650s packaged together.

BTW a few days ago one on ebay sold for $150, w/o an extra bulb

it is/was one of the highest rated lights made by Surefire
still used by law enforcement.

rhd- the battery looks like 2x18650 end to end, crazy long battery life
this light is made to be used, it can be dropped, and the bulb doesn't break.
it's very solid and durable, it was popular in military active duty use before the LED craze took over.

Just did some research. It's a NiCad battery, not 2x18650 lithium ions, and the bulb is 140 lumens (blinding?). For 140, I'm going to pass.

It's the smell of your frustration. You need to take a shower, it will help with the smell, and help you cool off ;)

Flashlights, much like lasers, generally don't appreciate in value with time. It was a great flashlight circa 2008. It is now only a decent flashlight in 2012.

The battery is nicad, and not a very good one at that, the "battery pack" is basically a roll of cardboard with two smaller batteries in it.

The halogen bulbs are durable, but they do break, and are nowhere near as bright as modern leds.

You also didn't post a picture of your flashlight with your username date... this is pro forma for all sales from newer members.

All that said, it's not a bad light, it just isn't worth what you're asking for it.

Also when posting an item for sale on here, you should be prepared to receive critique, if you're not happy with that, stick to craigslist, or ebay.

it's hard to make any real accurate assessments

Surefires are great flashlights (although I have never seen one of these in person), but I think the price is too high. They sell for $139 new on Amazon.
Which bulb is in it? I have used some halogen surefire bulbs that are great, and others that are overrated and drain the batteries in 10 minutes.
 
Wasn't a thread crap, but whatever.

I never owned this specific flashlight but yes, I have owned surefires in the past. I think they are great, and also very overpriced.

You still haven't posted a picture of the light and accessories with a piece of paper and your lpf use name and date.
