Purchased this from CTM towards the end of January ( link to original sales thread by CTM )

Honestly, I just wanted to buy this as my first BR and also to see what all the blu-ray hype was all about, but the fact is I like the green beams better.

Info on this BR: 6x GGW-h20l diode and 191mA. NEver had it tested, but CTM said it was around 200mW, it burns VERY well and will pop balloons from a good distance as well as light matches. (when the lens is adjusted)

Anyway, I would like to sell this so I can fund a nice high powered greenie. So I will either TRADE this for a greenie (like a o-like, ray foss, or custom DIY built 150-200mW greenie) or I will just sell this for what I paid, $110 via PayPal and shipped via USPS. I am located on the east coast USA, so all you USA buyers will have the laser within a few days (unless you want to pay for overnight shipping). I will also include two Enercell CR123 batteries. I put less than 5 minutes of operating time on this since I bought it, both batteries should still be full.

Here a few pics I snapped real quick with my phone...

Took a yellow highlighter and put a few dots on my hand, took the lens off the pocket mini and shined the blu-ray light on my hand...

THis beam is NOT visible at night, i believe only green lasers are visible (at least my greens are the only ones visible). As far as how far this will shine, I am not sure. I will tell you if you adjust the lense (2 full turns out) it will burn VERY well at about 6 inches.

You have strange eyes :P My 85mW is clearly visible @ night.

or the laser is not up to spec?!? nothing against you Atespo.

What do you mean by this comment? If you are comparing this to a green, the green beam is 100x more visible than this BR, but you are right, the BR is visible, with a little smoke or snow in the air it is VERY visible, just not as visible as the green beams.

Lets get a bump for this laser. Too many "tire kickers"

I have two blu-ray lasers at 97mW and 215mW, as measured by my Kenometer. While not as visible as greens, the blu-rays create eerie ghostlike grey beams in darkness, even without smoke or fog. They sort of mess with your eyes.

Yes, greens are more visible but the effects created by 405nm light are unusual and impressive.

If I were working at the moment, I'd pluck this up. What kind of lens does it feature? Both of mine have jayrob's fantastic 405-G-1. They make a tighter beam than the AixiZ acrylic, not to mention more power.

I had a blu-ray around 90mw and the beam looked cloudy and weird as said above but it was still visible and it popped balloons about as fast as yours!

Okay, I am going to apologize for my lack of knowledge, but I was wrong (everyone else was right), the beam is totally visible at night. I just haven't played with the laser but once at night, and I swear it was not visible.

I took a video the other night of me playing with it in my room, and you can clearly see the beam. I did not do any effects to the video at all, I just imported it from my camera and put it all together with iMovie.

WretchedMerc, the reason it did not pop the balloon quicker is because I did not have the lens adjusted, if its is adjusted properly, it will pop the balloon as soon as it is put on to it. The lens on this one is AixiZ, but if you were to upgrade to JayRobs 405-G-1, you would have an incredible BR laser.

Here is the video I just uploaded.
