hey guys, i tore apart a laser last night thinking that i could use the module in another laser come to find out that the aizix module was machined down to about 10mm making it useless to me...the diode is still good and the microboost as-well...the microboost is set to max right now and it also has a little aluminum heat-sink on it...

looking for $45 shipped CONUS ONLY for the whole setup..pics coming tonight

its all still in good shape...this doesn't come with a lens or adapter

Wait... You have a 10mm a140 diode? What is included in the "whole setup"

no, the diode is an a140...the normal sized a140...the outside of the module that the diode is pressed into is machined smaller to be press fit into a 10440 mxdl host that i took it out of.

i will post the pics at 11:30 PM EST tonight when i get home

If only I had a tail to take a picture with my phone while I try and hold the battery and the connections together :thinking:

This laser does lase and btw everyone I just realized I had an extra acryllic lens and focus adapter...so those are included :)

You don't want to know :( i feel stupid because right before i did it i was like i should really just buy a new module and driver for the E2 i was going to put this in because i really like having this tiny infinite duty cycle pen that isn't blindingly bright :( i'm sorry :(

and that is the story behind me ordering that diode in the module from you tonight :/

I have more MXDL pens hosts if you trashed the other. If it still works I don't see why you could not just rebuild it.;)
 
Who originally built the laser this is from?
