I have for sale a batch of 5 Blue-ray lasers.
The LD's are 405mn units from the latest DDL group buy mounted in Aixiz modules
The drive circuit is built around the 7805 regulator
The power is set for all of them at Lase point +10ma which should give a long life
The host body is aluminium with a chrome finish
Operation is by a clicky switch in the tail cap
Focus is by the chrome ring on the Aixiz acrylic lens
I have decided to supply these without batteries or charger to reduce cost/delivery weight/delivery time
These laser pointers require 7.2v to drive them, do not expect them to work with standard AAA batteries
Batteries are available here
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.974
A suitable charger for the batteries here
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.973
Price to the US $120.00 including P & P
Price to UK buyers £58.00 including P & P
Payment via Paypal please PM me for details
A few notes about Blue-ray lasers
With smoke in a darkened room the beam is just visable ( the beam shots you see on ebay are, in most cases, what the camera sees and not what the eye sees)
In normal lighting no beam is visable
The dot is a little brighter than a 5mw red when both are shone onto white paper
Though these lasers do not have the "wow" factor of a green they are far less common
The blu-ray comes into its own when shone at items that flourece
I use a blue ray for presentations all the time and I often hear comments about the colour or get asked where I got mine from
Glow in the dark items can be activated beautifully with a quick squirt of violet-blue
A few photo's follow and you could look at this thread....
