In order to make a daylight shot look like a night-time one, you need to dim down the ambient after filming. Well, dimming down an already dim flashlight makes it look pathetic. Gotta start with a high output light to make it look halfway decent after processing. I can't wait to see how bright they still look after post production processing, though
