...yeah, I wasn't really sure where to put this, so here it is. It's more of an announcement really, I guess.
Several owners of Pro's have approached me, interested in the idea of having a simple update with the noise elimination code rolled in. This afternoon, I took a break from writing my new-new firmware (screenshots of that in the next thread I post) to deliver this.
This update is completely free. I'd rather not post a public link to have all and sundry download it, but if you own a Pro, please drop me a private message and I'll get you a copy of it no problem. You'll get the firmware binary and a program I wrote that will upload it.
This update cuts through any noise present in the meter. I've had success measuring the 2mW output of a tiny LED light I had sitting on my desk.
Anyhow, drop me a message for free firmware! You won't regret it!
