i searched the forum and found nothing, so i figured i'd post

has anyone ever had any experience working with a frazier lens? panavision makes them for cameras.

they supposedly give perfect depth of field, all the way from point blank to infinity.

which means you could give a laser diode perfect focus at all ranges

You're confusing focusing with collimating. This is useful for photography, but not for laser diodes. You will not have two diodes at different distances to the lens, so you adjust the lens for that one laser diode.
