This is insane and it's been around since 2016. Geez this kind of ignorance is painful. Major facepalm

Geez, terrible advice. I just hope none of his viewers are left thinking they'd "recover" from a 5W red laser hit to the eye. :( That's the kind of misinformation that could cause a serious injury. :(

There are no 5W red laser diodes currently on the market. So he would be comparing a 0,7W diode with a 1W blue diode (after all, its a cheap 2016 chinese laser pointer)
So i see where he would have tried to burn stuff and deducted "my 5W blue burns good, my 5W red not".
Blue lasers are the "powerful" ones, so the media is also often stating "dangerous blue lasers".
There are also photochemical effects that only happen with short wavelengths of lasers.

Nevertheless, he is very wrong!
