Just so you and everyone else knows, those goggles are OD +2 rated. I sent them an e-mail a while back because I purchased the same ones off of Milos and I was curious. They are very good at what they do. Although I still wouldn't look at the dot close up for too long.

650nm goggles are for RED LASERS. For GREEN lasers, you'll want goggles that give protection from 532nm + or - 5nm or 10nm. If you need goggles for a GREEN laser, see my ad in the BS&T section. I have a pair for sale right now..............rob

Well, I posted a link to the exact laser I'm selling, & the goggles are the ones WICKED LASERS sells for $40.00. I FINALLY got a camera, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out HOW to download pix & put them where I want them. I wish somebody would PM me with a step by step method of doing this. Then I'd be posting a lot more pix. I just got a 600mW RAYFOSS LASER (it actually does 610mW's) that I'd LOVE to post some pix of. Just can't figure it out. I did it ONE time & now when I try, a box comes up saying my pix are too large. If you haven't noticed, I'm not too PC literate. In fact, I'm about as dumb as they come. HA HA HA .....................rob

It's O.D. Rating & I sent them an Email, & they said that the O.D. Rating for the 532nm wavelength is > O.D. 3.0 which will offer you plenty of protection from a 160mW GREEN LASER..........rob

The OD rating for these goggles is two, as quoted by Wicked Lasers. I have the same exact pair.

I don't believe this will protect you from a direct hit. I shined my 5mW greenie towards my eye for a second and well, it seemed equally as bright to me. However the dot from both my 5mW and 125mW were both very dull. Without the goggles, the dot from the 125mW is unbearable to look at for too long.

Just use common sense and you'll never take a direct hit.
