I noticed that, although being a fully technological forum, we don't have a food section!
We all know it. We all eat it. We all love it. :) It's FOOD!

So let's share recipes, food ideas, what you ate for dinner, anything food related. Why not? Let's see what LPF eats on a daily basis.

A few video channels I like to help get this started

I once cooked a piece of steak with a CO2 laser. I do not recommend it.

If you served laser cooked steak, would if come under the light menu?

lol, I guess lasers could be used to draw intricate patterns onto otherwise boring dishes

In the last year or so, I've been buying cuts like this. Cooking at low heat with a mild rub and slicing thin with my berkel for my own deli roast beef. At less than $2.00 pound for perfect deli roast beef, you can't beat it. Plus its MUCH healthier than buying the cooked stuff with all the extra nitrates they add.

I love the Chef Store we have. Best deals I've EVER seen, sometimes. I tend to be very thrifty when possible, leaves more left for lasers and other items when on a limited budget :)

But I did buy a new commercial Berkel 825A about 8 years ago, to do this!
