focussing laser

hello guys

i have a problem with focussing my green laser
the laser has a Ø of 1 mm at the beginning, at a distance of about 7 meters it had a Ø of 1 cm (estimated)
the laser diode has no option for any focussing

can somebody help me with some tips how to correct this
my goal is to keep it as thin as possible

Have you got any pics? On most green lasers the focussing lense is right on the front of th module.

yes there is an option on the front of the diode
but it will not make a lot of difference ill try to make a picture this evening
its a 30mw green laser diode from an cheap laser projector (stealt laser)
