Fix switch on old (2011) O-Like 405nm ?

The switch stopped working on my old workhorse O-Like 405nm and I would love to try to repair it--but I cannot figure out how to dismantle it. Is there a way to take these apart without damaging them? I bought it in 2011, model OLBVL-10. The plastic button is removed in the picture, but it's the switch on the driver board that's bad.

Alternatively, I'd be open to replacing it but I can't seem to find something similar. Everything in my spec (metal case, 30mW or so, AAA batteries/pen size) seems to be horrible quality. Does anyone sell smaller, pen-format pointers that are not ebay junk quality? I also love how on mine here, when the focuser is screwed completely in, the laser is defocused and acts like a flashlight.

The top piece is likely pressed into the housing. Getting it out is probably not too hard but the tools to do it might scratch or gouge up the metal. It could be glued in as well but there's probably no good way of knowing that ahead of time.
