This is kind of interesting. My wife bought this Fisher Price "Light Sketcher" for my grand kids at Toys-R-Us and after playing with it a few minute using the included LED light pen, I thought I'd try it with my Blu-Ray Laser. It works great! The image stays dark for a couple minutes before fading away. The drawing area is approx. 16" x 8".

Oh.... :'( I thought it was gonna be a cheap toy we can rip blu-ray diodes out of ;D So it originally includes a pen with a violet LED?
I'm not sure how it works, but I noticed that using a red laser(a powerful red laser) on charged GITD stuff discharges it.Maybe you can use a diverging red burner as an eraser? :-/
