We need some more opinions from our experts. That doesn't look good so far

You haven't by chance dropped or banged it in any way, have you?

Beyond that, I'm at a loss as to how a CNI could just flake out like that. They are known to be VERY quality products.

I was sitting at my desk to open the package. It fell out of my hands onto my desk, falling no more than 2 inches, which was not very hard. And it worked fine, it was a day later after the 1/2 ish minute sesh that it got crappy. I had no idea about duty cycles or what not. Figured a $120 laser could be used for more than 45 seconds at a time lol.

Email Dragon and describe the problem, they would be the most likely ones to be able to help.
You said this laser is brand new, right?

(edit: when you say "1/2 ish", do you mean one to two minutes, or 30 seconds - 1/2 of a minute?)

It's brand new yes. I will most likely return it and get a refund since I'm not 100% satisfied according to there terms of service. Or get it replaced. And yes around 1/2 minutes. 120 seconds. Breaks of like 5 seconds to aim it to a new area. I would expect a laser that's 120$ to be able to withstand that.

Stay away from Wicked Lasers...

You'll be waiting months for your order, they have really gotten worse over the last 12 months... (They've always been slow) but in my opinion are worse than ever.

I'm so glad I got my laser before they got into mess in November.

Just reading their Facebook page is enough. STAY AWAY!

WL doesn't even ship lasers >5mw to the US anymore, so I don't think that will be a problem for him. And for the laser, I would recommend contacting them like Gadget said.

Did you even spend 30 seconds to read the thread. I've gotten a laser, and I am having problems with it. Not deciding where to order.

Thanks for the heads up on what I all ready knew tho.

You are making quite a few double posts.
That is considered bad form around these
parts. But back to the laser, does it work
better when you mash down really hard on
the button or wiggle it while pressing it?
The switches do go bad a lot in these things.

It completely wont work now, I will be sending it back for a full refund since there is no physical damage. Now I have to decide to buy another laser and from where.

If you're looking for another green laser,
you can't go wrong with an SF501B. But if
it must be another high end green pen,
probably the LP from laserbtb.com would be
a good choice.
