I am not familiar with the inner workings of Lazerer products. I would imagine you can de-solder the old diode leads and solder in the new one.

You will probably need a new driver also. Your best bet is to send it to a vet and have them fix it for a price...

Can you recommend any vet's? Do you know how much they'll cost? D:

EDIT: Has anybody taken this kind of laser apart? I talked to DTR about getting a new diode already pressed into a module, the size is 12mm. Does anybody know FOR SURE if this module would fit this type of laser?
