Hey all,

Love the forum. I wanted to invest in some Red, Blue, and Green lasers that burn...I found some diodes but wanted to know where I can get some tips that focus from?

Thanks.

Hello and welcome to LPF!:)

What I believe you are looking for is called an "Aixiz module".
Search for it here on the forum and/or google too if you like.
If you don't like what you find, there are alternatives, but this
one is really ubiquituos.

Thats the point. He also doesnt need lens or module for green so I dont know why he posted it. ;)

Hmm you might be better off just buying a different laser, one that is
focusable to begin with...

What! For that price you can get something much better.
Do you want exactly THIS laser?
Or what do you want?
How much power, focusable or not, what kind of batteries, star cap, LEDs(seriously?)..

Really? I'm looking for a laser that can be used for star watching and burn matches/black balloons/etc, and I'm under the impression that it has to be focusable to do both in the right capacity (had a red burning laser once, used it for the same but had to adjust focus to do so). I'd like 3 lasers in green, blue, and red. I've heard that it has to be over 150mW to burn...hows this one?
200mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer Pen (Black)
If not, please do let me know what/where I can get such lasers. Thanks!

I seriously doubt than any of those 2 lasers you linked do more than 100mw,
despite the claimed power output.
Most cheap chinese laser companies lie on a regular bases about the output,
even to their resellers.
THIS chinese laser company, although not dirt cheap, is still quite
affordable, and many members here are happy about quality and the power is usually
up to the power advertised, or even more sometimes!
I personally don't own one of those, but I have read good things about them here.

If you wanna go cheaper than that, try sites like dealextreme, focalprice, priceangels.
Although, generally speaking, you wouldn't want to take their word on the output power
of lasers >50mw...

Wait, why don't you just go to the "green" board of this forum and read the stickies?
Go now, hush hush :D
