First Burning Laser/Lm317T Driver Issues

12V in lamps, it sounds like if it powers a lamp, it should power a remote, but I am not familiar with 12V lamp battery? As long as you aren't talking about A23 cells ;-)

AAs are unavoidable, so I ended up buying one of those starter packs that has a bunch of AA NiMH and a charger. Still doesn't remove the hassle of needing 8 of 'em for 12V :o
