Hey guys, this is my very first build that I put together yesterday 11/19/2016! I was very nervous when I was starting to put it together just wondering if it would work, if I was doing everything right. I did so much research and took every precaution that I needed to before even building it (Correct pair of glasses for 445nm wavelength). First of all, I have to give a big thank you to Survival Lasers for the wonderful C6 host bundle as well as the Eagle eye glasses appropriate for the wavelength that I put together. Another big thank you to DTR Laser for the wonderful service and fast shipping of the laser diode that I needed in order to make this build a success! Without these 2 suppliers, I don't think I would have my first laser right now. I also have to give a big thank you to the LPF community for all the wonderful research you guys have done and all the information you guys provide, without this I would have never even knew where to start! I am very thankful and want to give you all the credit you very much deserve. I will list the parts that I got and then hopefully the beam shots I took in my apartment with my wife will come through (she is a big supporter in my projects).
Survival lasers:
C6 host
1.8A driver current
Black anodized aluminum heat sink
Standard aluminum driver pill
Eagle pair 190nm - 540nm
DTR laser:
445nm M140 diode in 12mm copper module w/leads
Three element glass lens
Here are the pics!
