first attempt at a laser build

I downloaded a schematic of a home built laser driver.. Bought all the parts... Just need a diode. But i don't know where to look to buy JUST the diodes VIA credit card.. Can anybody help?

Well im running at 8.6v dc at the point I'm putting the diode... And idk what ever i can get to burn with that supply...n by burn i mean not just match sticks

Best to make a paypal then, it only takes like 2minutes and most things you buy off the internet will require paypal.
