FAP fiber combined 520nm diodes?

What do you folk think of this idea:

Is it possible to use some of the fibers out of one of these FAP assemblies designed for 800nm to combine the outputs of several 520nm laser diodes? I know the fibers are spaced too close together for 9mm diodes, but maybe if just using a fiber every few fibers apart to allow them to fit together horizontally?

I'm wondering if three or more 1 watt 520 nm laser diodes might be combined together that way?

Hmmm Interesting idea..
I wonder if the fibers can carry the 520nm
wavelength efficiently enough since the array
was designed for 808nm.

I don't know how the relationship of the wavelength might affect the transfer of light through the fibers, but 520nm, is, of course, a shorter wavelength.

I have thought about this before, but will the fibers be bundled like the 19 fibers in a FAP or combined?

We need then combined.

In order to combine we would need a specialized fiber array, one with several feed fibers for our diodes to pump into and combine by way of fused coupling.

Industrial lasers combine 7 pump diodes but they are true yttrium fiber lasers, but conduit fibers can be split and combined as well.
