Reporter investigates why this guy doesn't want any 'asians' when selling his house.
Oh this heavy Aussie accent of ours.... hahahaha

He even tries to put it back on the wall!!
He's no better than when I was working as a guard at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston when I just got out of high school. A woman was letting her what looked like a 5 year old child keep hitting a drapery type art repeatedly. She just didn't care and ignored my please stop him requests.
I will say all I did was stand around all day and I would come home exhausted. Work is work what ever you do:)

Couldn't you trespass her from the property and ban from the museum for say 5 years until her crotch goblin grew up a little?

I was just an entry level guard with no authority. I did report it to the 2nd in command of the museum's security who told her to control her child. I still believe to this day she should of had some type of ban but he didn't get to see her arrogance of avoiding me that might of swayed him. "Wonder if this little dude is robbing banks now because of his mothers negligence"

It's a problem borne of a very sedentary society, and addictions to sugar, and generally very fatty foods.

We as a society literally just don't move around as much as we used to. My typical day at work is sitting on my ass for 8-10 hours a day. My typical commute is about 1-1.5 hours daily again, driving, again sitting on my ass. Primary form of entertainment? Internet video, chat, games, etc, AGAIN, sitting on my ass. The thing is, this is pretty typical for most people, outside of more narrow jobs.

All of that adds up to requiring people to actually monitor their diet, AND to move, if they don't want to get fat, which just gets harder and harder with age, and larger workloads.

Society really is headed toward this...

That BMI calculator is just plain off. At my 5'-8" its putting me at over weight starting at 160 lb. Not that i'm at that weight now as iv"e added a few or more! but I just don't look healthy at 160. My best weight seems to be around 175. I get its a estimate thats suppose to cover all the averages combined but just show someone with say an eating disorder or a child with low self esteem and its got problems in the waiting.
I do remember those days of eating what I wanted and adding that my work kept me moving. Oh the good old days:rolleyes:

BMI is just an easy to collect metric, it completely does not not work for any kind of outliers, but does work well for the vast majority of people. Body fat % is a far better indicator. Mostly this tends to be an issue for stockier people who put on any kind of muscle mass.

That's about standard for the military. I'm slightly over with most of it being my gut. If I could loose that, I've be happy. I'm about 180 at 5' 10" and 165 is where I'd like to be.

I hope your best argument against BMI isn't "it doesn't look healthy", because that's not how medicine works.

LOL, unfortunately thats all I got, for now anyway as I didn't really follow up on it as to see how BMI came to be a standard which would of of made it understandable. Can you tell me you totally agree with its numbers though? Cyp this would put a 6'-3" 250lb NFL elite linebacker as being over weight. Agreed though till iv'e done some more reading I really can't say much on the subject:undecided:

The BMI is meant to be a rough guideline based on a very large collection of averages. It was developed at a time when electric impedance for body composition was not cheap, as an alternative to caliper, or water submersion tests.

In the overwhelming majority of people, the added weight is from fat, not muscle, and this why it is hated by some. Specifically BMI was adapted by military not as a guideline, but as a standard, which is just stupid.
