Styropyro says that the module looks exactly like the o-like modules. If yours also does, you may want to buy it and pop in your 50mW module.

That is what randomlugia thought up to solve your problem You get a new, flashlight style weaker laser quite cheaply because of the low power, then you open both lasers up, take the strong 50mW module out of the pen style laser and put it into the flashlight style laser.. so then you have a 50mW flashlight-style laser. Then you can take the 5mW module and put it in the pen style laser so you also have a weaker one for presentations and safer fun
