Ever try the Infiniti II Series from Tech Lasers?

Re: Ever try the Infiniti II Series from Tech Lase

TL is a scam. Like WL, they send out under spec units. Comparing an Infiniti II to an X series is like comparing a tricycle to a motorcycle-that cost the same amount.
EDIT: 200th post

Tricycles are so pimp.

On topic...
Buy from NOVALasers. Their customer service and lasers cannot be beat.

Re: Ever try the Infiniti II Series from Tech Lase

Don't even think about buying from TL, if you get a bad one you are out of luck because their customer service won't reply to you. Stick with Nova.

Re: Ever try the Infiniti II Series from Tech Lase

good god.. well.. thanks for your opinions ^____^

It was a debate on those two.... now going to talk to Nova on Tues. when they open again. Gonna try to talk to them about the price since I live local to them I can just pick it up directly... YEY for Canadian Holliday.

Thanks a lot guys.. X100 here I come... ;D ;D ;D
I'll post full review with UBER nice pics (GF = Pro-Photographer)

Well that's a little much said.Let's just say that they don't bother to test them, or that they have bad QC ::)

Re: Ever try the Infiniti II Series from Tech Lase

....and they ignore you once you try to email them because the laser you got is a pile of crap

Re: Ever try the Infiniti II Series from Tech Lase

I actually got a TL 250mw Crossfire laser for my birthday and it broke in 2 days of very carefull use.
Had to wait roughly a month on the rma but ended up getting a brand new device with free glasses and some t-shirt so plastic-like that the laser melts it lol.

The laser works well, i can keep it on for a good while without noticing any decrease in power, but im clueless to what it actually outputs, if i gotta believe the things sayd on these forums it wont be more then a 100mw lol.

Edit; woo first post, thought i already had before  :-[ hi all etc

Re: Ever try the Infiniti II Series from Tech Lase

thx :D glad to have finally found a good laser community :)
(and some1 crazy enough to sell/make me a seriouslly overpowered 'handheld' laser, see sig :P)

Re: Ever try the Infiniti II Series from Tech Lase

Be sure to get some safety goggles for that 808nm. :o

Re: Ever try the Infiniti II Series from Tech Lase

Yikes, that sucks, I think the most important thing about a company is customer service, if they can't even get that right, it doesn't matter how good or bad their products are, they're a no no in my book. I've only heard good things about Nova, maybe you should try them out...
