that anything and everything goes wrong? Yesterday. My 473nm module arrives broken in a terribly misshapen box, followed by the news that the 589nm laser isn't performing right. Hours after that news comes my internet modem dies, I managed to bring it back and it deleted everything that came with it and I don't know how to configure it. So, with the crappy reception I have with AT&T we needed to buy a $200 microcell unit that is linked with the modem, well, now that that isn't reconfigured I can't use the microcell so I can't get on the internet, my phone, and two lasers aren't working right.

Ah, the joys of living in a technologically "developed" world. :scowl:

That sounds terrible. Everybody has those days. But karma will repay you.
One day you have a tax refund, happens to meet a nice chick and win a holiday trip :D

Yeah I'm hoping that. So until I get this resolved I'm probably only going to be on LPF on saturdays, or anywhere I can get internet. I almost have to just go out a mile or two just to check feebay

I'm really sorry to hear about all that Zraffleticket. I know you might not be able to respond right away, but where was your 473nm module from and what was the shipping company?

As for the 593.5, have you seen it personally yet or is it still with your middleman?

Well i managed to get half of my modem working again, I have internet but nothing else yet...
It was a 473nm module from lasever shipped via DHL. As for the yellow, it's a 589nm shipped to a middleman... he either is running it in "unoptimal" conditions or it's not built right.
