Dielectric filter, 80% VLT.

"All Glendale laser eyewear comes with a lifetime frame guarantee."

" Glass LGT Eyewear
LGT® (laser glass technology) is designed to withstand direct laser radiation for short durations. Absorbing glass, dielectrics and self-healing plastics are combined to maximize visibility, weight and provide impact resistance."

so they can take a direct shot for long enough for me to blink and turn my head! I'm beginning to think even more it was money well spent.

LUCKY- ;)-LUCKY- ;D-LUCKY- :o-LUCKY!- :P
Lucky I didn't see them first!  :'(
Cool Deal BF!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

You get great protection and visibility with dielectric coated goggles but be very, very careful because the lenses are coated. Wear on the lenses will reduce their protection. That is the trade off between coated lenses and homogeneous polycarbonate lenses.

Very good goggles, polycarbonate lenses manufactured by NoIR in South Lyon Michigan. If there is a need for real US and European certified goggles let me know.

In fact, give me a bit and I'll have my company set up a discount code for LPF on laser goggles with a choice of frame styles. I'd be happy knowing you had proper and safe eye protection particularly for some of the powers you guys are operating.

hey look, the chimp's giving us money! LOL thanks Frothy. I intend to take VERY good care of my nice goggles. As they look so 'pro' it will look even more 'pro' to remove their case from my Pelican laser case, open it, unwrap the silk cloth from around them and then put them on :P

Now, if you can find me polycarbonate lenses with OD5 @ 532 and 1064, and 80-90% VLT other wavelengths, then I'm interested. Other problem with polycarb. though is unless you go for self-healing plastics or something, they aren't as resistant to a direct shot.

The best Glendale does on dual wavelength (1064nm and 532nm) is 26% VLT. They do have a 68% High Transmission for 1064nm however.

do you happen to know the od of the wicked lasers, laser shades

both red and green that would be a great help

Thanks,
Mitch
