Ebay "605nm" laser pen.






It is an idiot trying to sell lead and call it gold. Don't bid on it.
 
I think they just switched the 5 and zero. Should have been 650nm, and he called it 605nm. In reality that's probably a 650nm pen in the 20-50mw range.

Jeez :yabbem: I don't know about him being an idiot as I think it's just a typo, he has other listings for 650 lasers and all his other laser listings are for the normal wavelengths 405/450/532.

605 would be nice though!

It is not a typo, he does it consistently in the listing and describes it as different from normal red pointers. He may think that 605 is equal to 635.
 
IMo from that one pic I see orange he could think it's a 605 when it's a 635.
 
No, that is a 650nm pen. No way would you get a 605nm laser for that price. Even the illustration of the beam in the first image is pure red at 650nm. It is a typo.
 
605nm would be really something. Looking at the relative brightness calculator it's kind of a weird wavelength. Who knows, someday maybe.
