I need to modify a laser to act as a negative voltage (generator?) laser.

The text I read says:
Connect one end of the light bulb to the negative output of a modified laser drive. The modifications of the laser are negative voltage and positive ground.

All information will be welcome ;)

Nowhere near enough information....
1)what laser diode?
2)what driver?
3)What power source?
4)What are you trying to achieve?

The text doesn't explains more about it. The only questions I can answer are 3 and 4
3. 12 Volt 10 AH
4. A cold electricity system

I know you can't post links yet but if you replace the ". " with "dot" you can point us to what you are looking at.
