Cool, I'm down for it. I live in Toronto.

I am unable to travel anywhere outside though.

I'm in Montreal, that would be fun, yeah!
I could travel as far as Quebec City or Ottawa.
Toronto might be a bit far for me (6-hour trip by car).

Then again, if enough people show their interest...

Montreal or somewhere near the Quebec/Ontario border near the HWY 401..
That would save an hour (going to Mtl) for someone coming from Toronto area...

I had the idea to take bus/train if it would happens in Toronto. (Oh shit, never went there)

So we could meet somewhere and all leave to Toronto at same Time ;).

In Montreal, it would be easyer with bus/subway.

Unfortunatly, I've relocated about an hour outside of Torono. Depending on where the meet takes place, I could possibly take the GO bus there...

Both my vehicles are damaged and have been in repair for a while(Can't afford complete repairs at the moment). Even if I could drive there, Parking here, is hell(If you leave your spot, don't count on finding another one)

Lets see.....:p

$2600.00 for 1991 Honda 8 years ago
$2500.00 for Repairs (parts +work by me)
$5100.00 / 8 = $637.50 per year
Plates = 225.00 / year
Insurance $130.00 / year

Total = less than $1000.00 per year...:eek:
+ gas (depends on driving distance)

Plus... no standing in lines... just hop in a go...;)

OK... OK... OK... it is on it's last legs at 400,000km
but it still gets me to where I'm going...:evil:

The time I save not waiting for my ride... I spend in the
Shop to make some money...

Jerry - Have you also considered the "Oh crap the tranny's making grinding noises" aspect? Car repairs are not cheap; even if you could repair your own car, things such as engine or tranny overhaul/rebuild generally can't be done(Unless you have time or experience).

I've been lucky with this Honda Accord... that's why I buy Hondas...
they are nearly indestructable ...
If I didn't kick the crap out of the car it would proably last to 800,000km..
I have built 2 cars in the past years so i know which end af a spanner
to hold.. That cuts down on repair expenses...
I also have a buddy that owns the local garage that can repair patch just
about anything I want done...at a rural price...

Some times it's not what you know..... but who you know...:beer:

As reliable as Japanese cars are suppose to be, I sure don't want to be in one during an accident. Maybe if you see a few after an accident, you may reconsider your choice of car. Call me old fashioned but I only buy American or European ;)

As for car repairs, my jeep is currently missing most of the drive train and an oil pan(I was quoted 3-5k just in parts). My pickup decided to kiss a tree and I'll be needing a new front end, rad and hood(close to 5k of parts).
