I voted wrong I was in a quake that was 7.2, I thought it was 6.7.
We were up at a friends cabin about 30 miles away when it hit. It scared the hell out of us. We thought the cabin was going to collapse, it happened in 1982.Photographs from the 1983 Borah Peak, ID Earthquake

Felt another one in 1975 it was in Malad ID, and was 6.1. The dishes in the cupboard rattled and it was easily felt.

Have to update my vote, had stronger one since I created the poll, a 5.0 about 60 km north of Ottawa in June 2010.




Often the Moment Magnitude number can be deceiving depending on the depth and location of the earthquake so I posted the intensity map with my location. Intensity maps of most significant earthquakes are located here (link) so you can find yours and post too.
