I bought a soft case for my PSP from DealExtreme driven on the low price and free standard postage. I only thought now I bought it, how long does it usually take for their standard delivery? Its going to the UK as well...

Edit:
As I am here, has anyone bought a phone from them. The prices are awesome and I realize they are fake copies of some other phone but they work well, look nice and look like the real one minus the logo.

cant tell you if the phone's are any good. the OS is strange, nothing I've ever seen, it aint common. if you wanna use the phone for what it is, and you dont plan on installing apps or games then i suppose it's fine. if you want a phone for 3rd part apps, and games, then get a windows phone! :)

Hmm, I like the Nokia N95 but the one on there has a few bad reviews saying some of the features of it dont even work. Think I will stick to the ones on ebay...

£170 for a new N95 is good.

The Nokia N95 uses the Symbian60 OS. my second Favorite to windows mobile. dont listen to that review, the N95 should be good, plus, s60 has many 3rd party apps and games you can install ( i can hook you up ::)). It also has a graphics accelerator that is MAD FAST! you can play lots of games, GameBoy Advance emulator works flawless. and of corse, Nokia is popular for having such good doom ports! i love doom! got it on my phone. see my videos:

the N95 is a great device, but after owning a touchscreen device, i dont think I'm gonna go back to any non-touchscreen devices. all my phones after my current phone (AT&T Tilt) will have a touchscreen. If you are interested in windows mobile phones, there will be many new ones coming out towards the end of this year (september - october and december time.) as well as the first quarter of next year.

overall, i always recommend a windows mobile phone, you have a much larger variety of features plus software.

Hmm, I will probally get one from ebay. It's an official Nokia N95 unlike the fakes on DX, I am not even sure the one on DX runs the same OS.

When does the N96 come out? Obviously, like you said, the price for the N95 is going to drop like a stone.

Ordering the item actually takes about 4 days to 7 days.

Once the item leaves Hong Kong and is shipped to me in Soutthern Califronia is usually takes about 3 days.

my current phone is the HTC wizard. i agree that windows mobile is badass as long as you own a windows machine (which is like >%50)

What do you think of the Google Android? I think I'm going to hold off as long as possible until HTC releases one with android on it, i really look forward to all the custom apps that people can make for it. it will be like the facebook apps program x50

can't wait :)

EDIT: i just checked an order I had made from DX on 6-25. they shipped it a few days ago and it is in Jamaica, NY.... I live in Houston, TX ??? that has got to be one of the most inefficient shipment routes someone could take to go to NY first.... what happened to California???

EDIT2: unless it went west. which doesn't seem to make sense to me but maybe it's faster.

I live in western Canada and the quickest I've received something from DX was about a week to 10 days.. The longest I've had to wait is about 6 weeks, or a month and a half.

I've been paying more attention to tracking lately, and it seems that once DX updates their status to "Shipped", it shows up on CanadaPost's website the next day saying "Item has arrived in Vancouver and is being held by customs", and stays that way for about two weeks before it shows up on my door. I'm not sure if this is just a pre-notification that they've received the customs paperwork, or if it's actually in Vancouver, ready to be processed... I've noticed UPS saying "Item is being held in Canadian customs" for weeks when the package never left the states, so I'm guessing Canadapost just gives that message as soon as its notified of a shipment that will eventually come into customs.

Day 8 now.

My tracking number is rather useless, I am using the free shipping so I have no idea who it is being shipped with.

They ship through hongkong post. You can track the shipment by logging into your DX account, though hongkong post only tracks till it leaves China.
Once it arrives in your country you should be able to track it via your local carrier. (canadapost for me, usps in america)
