You can also stack em like coins if 1400mA from one board isn't enough.

I'd keep a close eye on power disspation if you are going for that option though. If there is any voltage drop to speak of, these chips require proper heatsinking in any appliction that i supposed to run continously.

This becomes an issue even more so when used for a 445 build
and 2 x 3.6v. They are low drop out chips and get hot fast
contending with the extra voltage.

On a positive note, they have thermal protection so at worst
you end up with a pulsed laser...
