Dx 30 mW strange problem.

Hy, I own this laser for 2 weeks. Today something very strange happened. When i turn it on everything is ok for about 3 seconds than suddenly the beam splits in half. There are 2 parallel beams coming out of it and it lose a lot power.
Can anybody tell my why is that happening and if there is something I can do to repair it?

mode hopping. It's a common problem in green lasers and isn't really fixable without ripping your laser apart (even then it may not be fixable) so your best bet is to send it back to DX for a replacement

that sucks, my 35mw evo (i sent it back) would mode hop
