"DVD Laser Drive Optical Pick-up Module for Xbox 360" from DX






These are DVD (red) diodes, just to let you know. If you were looking for the violet diodes those are from the Xbox HD drives. These also seem quite new, since there is very little reviews on the website, so I'm not too sure if any one has tried it yet.

I have read that it can burn DVDs, and it only has problems with burning dual layer DVDs.

But I think you are right. There is no reason for this. Well, I will use at least mirrors from the sled ;)
