Hi,
I did this to my DTR 510 modules to ground out the diode. I really don't like trying to squeeze that thin wire between the 12mm hole in the module and the 12mm CU module, just a pain. First drill a hole centered on the rim of the back of the Module with a # 43 drill bit then tap the hole with a 4-40 tap. Done slip in the ground wire and drive the set screw down flush with the edge of the module.
This works great on all my 510 builds..hope you all enjoy it. Been doing this a long time for the 510's
