Man, my cousin was playing with my laser and he dropped it... on my brothers head... right after I fixed it by cleaning the lens, it isnt a good day for this thing, anyways now its not working, I've checked and it hasn't gone to IR, it just won't turn on. Any duggestions, I just got it and it was a gift, please help!

you said it isn't IR , how did you determine that? also what model or where did you get this from? but it does sound like the crystals are out of alignment.

I tried turning it on and looked at it with a camera I already know sees IR. It's from amazon and its called Million Accesories Military Adjustable Focus Green Laser Pointer Pen <5mw 532nm Beam Powerful 5 Miles. I really hope the crystals aren't the problem cause I heard that cant be fixed, and what are "the crystals?"

Here's how the green lasers work. You can see where the crystals are in the diagram (KTP and Nd:YVO4):

If your laser isn't showing anything, including IR, maybe there's a busted connection inside the host. The host for your laser appears to have a rear clicky switch. Maybe see if you can manually make the connection at the rear using a wire or something. Make sure the laser is aimed away from your eyes in case it lights up.

If that doesn't work, maybe the board got damaged from the shock of being dropped. The battery might've rammed the module inside and broken it. You can try taking it apart and seeing what is inside and if it is repairable.

Good news! Connecting it with a wire instead of the button turns it on! Now how can I fix the button now that I know that thats the problrem.

Yeah, thanks Badger now I know it works and its just the button, but is there a way to fix the button or a place I could get a replacement?

Well fixed the button problem with aluminum foil but the adjustable focus won turn all the way, any advice for that? And thanks for all the help everyone!

Maybe the lens inside got jammed or has some grit or something. You could try applying some extra pressure on the twist to see if it'll dislodge it. You might need to just open the thing up and see if anything is wrong.
