Just got a FB update on this thought some may be interested.
Pulsed mode seems lame though.

EDIT: Oh yeh, 589 (orange) involves a Very complicated array of lenses and crystals which are quite rare and therefor expensive. Although, many people buy orange laser pointer just because they look like a "mini sun" (quoted from Regina, another female LPF'er)

And uh, i was curious just as to how easy it'd be to tell that the laser is pulsed?
Or is it very hard for the human eye to tell?
