Have anyone ever noticed that when your looking at the beam travel toward you it seems brighter than when it's was traveling away from you. You would think that as the beam travels away from you it will get diffracted back of the debris in the air more that it diffracts forward, right?  :-?

I also noticed that off to the side of my KES blu ray there is a yellowish-orange light being emmitted. Didn't see it off my 803t build tho, too bright to look at.

There was a thread like this before. And yea, with the PS3 diodes there is a small yellow glow from the diodes. If I remember correctly, someone thought it's part of the chip that's fluorescing.

Many of the violet diodes display this phenomenon.

Peace,

You'd think that, but unlike Rayleigh scattering, with Mie scattering the light gets scattered more in the direction it's travelling.
