Dorcy metal gear

Got 2 of my GB diodes today (cheers Senkat [smiley=thumbsup.gif] ) and decided to make a start on them while i wait for my 10 pack of axis modules to arrive. So I rip open the packaging on one of the Dorcy metal gears that I got for this project and found I couldnt get the damn lense end off, wont undo wont budge.

Doc - I have teh SAME ISSUE ! THey are REALLY well put together ! SteveTexas must be VERY much in shape, as he said it simply has twisted apart for him ! LOL !!

use the wood trick. Put it in a vise with a peice of wood like this.
I then use a pair of pliers with a garden hose cut in half or a radiator hose cut in half to wrap around the body of the flashlight. or in the case of the metal gear I wrapped it around the head.
